Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 25, 2026

Shoo does not collect, upload or share any personal information, and it does not track you.

What stays on your Mac

Your stickers, categories and settings are saved only in Shoo’s own folder on your Mac (its App Sandbox container). Deleting Shoo deletes them.

Photos

When you turn a photo into a sticker, the cut-out is made on your Mac with Apple’s Vision framework. The photo is never uploaded. Shoo only reads the photo you drag in or choose.

Your wallpaper

If you turn on “Hide desktop items too”, Shoo reads your wallpaper on your Mac to cover the desktop icons. It is not copied or sent anywhere.

Other apps

When you link a sticker to an app or window, Shoo only asks macOS to hide or show it. Shoo does not read the contents, documents, tabs or web addresses of other apps.

Purchases

Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. Shoo never sees your payment details.

No network, no analytics

Shoo has no account, no ads, no analytics and no third-party code that collects data.

Children

Shoo does not collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
