Let's move tomorrow's meeting to 3:30 p.m. because I'll be with a client until three. I'll send you the materials tonight. Please take a look at the numbers on page two first; they seem a little off. I'll include the quote as well. The previous version was wrong, so please don't use it again.
Per sentence: rewritten and pasted at every pause.
- The selected format applies to every sentence; press it again to show only.
- Auto replace pastes only the rewrite, even when the panel is closed.
- Formats never add details you didn't say.

On-device tone reminders
A little more care before you send.
Built-in English and Chinese models check each sentence for its language, even when you mix them. They consider the app and person you are addressing. They can flag words that may hurt or suggest a more formal tone for the situation. The final choice is yours.

- Accept or dismiss a reminder, and tell Parroting whether it helped.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Why does it need microphone and Accessibility permissions?
The microphone records speech. Accessibility lets Parroting paste finished text into the app you are using. The app guides you through both permissions on first launch.
What works without an AI key?
On-device speech recognition, punctuation and spacing cleanup, tone reminders, personal dictionary, and history all work. Only AI editing and rewriting need your own service and key. You can start with a free Gemini API key.
Where is my data stored?
Audio is processed on your Mac. Dictionary, history, and personalization data live on your devices and in an app-specific folder in your own iCloud for use on your devices.
How can I export or delete my data?
Your data is in your devices and your own iCloud app folder. You can copy it for a backup or delete it there. We will add the exact steps once the release interface is finalized.
Which languages are supported?
The website and app interface support Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and English. Tone reminders work in English and Chinese, even mixed in the same message. Each sentence is checked for its language.
Will it run on an Intel Mac?
The current Mac download is for Apple silicon and requires macOS 11 or later.
